About Me
It was my husband who suggested I have a go at digiscoping to get me out and about. He is a keen photographer so it would be something I could do to complement his photography.
I knew absolutely nothing about the subject so started exploring the Internet and was amazed about the number of sites which specialise in the subject.
After a lot of deliberation I finally decided to buy a Olivon T90 ED as my starting scope in November 2007 and a Ricoh GX100 camera to go with it. I really didn't know if I would like it or not so didn't want to splash out to much money.
The digiscope bug did bite and I haven't looked back since.
This website tells my story of digiscoping from my first picture to my latest pictures. All my pictures are the orginals which have only been cropped. I'm not keen on doing too much editing as I feel it can spoil the image.
I don't pretend to be an expert I just enjoy digiscoping and seeing my pictures improve with practice.
December 2009 - I was shocked to hear that I had won 1st prize in the UK Swarovski Digiscoper of the Year competition.
